Band: Horrorscope
Title: Altered Worlds Practice
Genre: Thrash/Groove Metal
Year: 20th October 2017
Time: 46 min
Rating: 86/100
It's incredible but I have still to review a 2018 release on these pages! In fact, the loooong series of reviews about the 2017 releases continue today with "Altered Worlds Practice", the 7th full-lenght album by Horrorscope, an excellent and prolific quintet from Poland existing since 1997 (without counting their first incarnation in 1996 as Disonance). As Formis and Leech, also Horrorscope belong to the mega-pack of CDs that Marcin from Mythrone Promotion sent to me some months ago. This means that, with this review, I am going to end the series about that pack of Defense Records releases.

INTERVIEW TO UMBRA NOCTIS!!! (FILIPPO MAGRI)
Some months ago, I deeply reviewed "Via Mala", the very innovative second album of a black metal band from Italy called Umbra Noctis. Here there is a nice interview to them through the words of Filippo Magri, their singer and one of their original founders. Expect an interview full of strange answers for a black metal act also related to themes like Italian Patriottism, magnificent landscapes and...pornstars!|
HAVE A GOOD READ!!!

Sodomized Cadaver/Sudden Death/A Taste of Fear (Rome, 18th March 2018)
Bands: Sodomized Cadaver/Sudden Death/A Taste of Fear
Location: Traffic Live Club, Rome
Date: 18th March 2018
After a lot of fuckin' time, there is a new LIVE REPORT on these brutal pages! I think that I couldn't choose for a better live gig than the one that I attended on 18th March 2018 at Traffic Live Club in Rome to write a new article of this kind! In fact, today you will read the demented deeds of three bands: A Taste of Fear, Sudden Death (both comes from the area of Rome) and Sodomized Cadaver from Wales! The Welsh madmen, just along with the first two aforementioned bands, have ended an Italian mini-tour from 16th to 18th March in which they terrorized places like Cassano d'Adda (near Milan) and Pescara with the final date in Rome Caput Mundi. And believe me that their tour has been ended in the right way through a totally bestial show!

Leech - "Cyanide Christ" (LL Production, 2013/Defense Records, 2017)
Band: Leech
Title: Cyanide Christ
Genre: Thrash Metal
Year: 2013 (LL Production)
6th December 2017 (Defense Records)
Time: 43 min
Rating: 81/100
After Formis, this is "Cyanide Christ" by Leech, another CD from the mega-pack from Marcin of Mythrone Promotion! Leech is a project created in an unspecified period (2003, if I understood correctly) by people of the calibre of Jens C. Mortensen (vocals), Jari Kuusisto (rhythm guitars) and Lars Lindèn (bass) from Carnal Forge, Magnus Söderman (lead guitars) from Nightrage and Stefan Westerberg (drums) from Skineater and ex-Carnal Forge, so we are talking about real veterans of the Swedish death/thrash metal scene. So far, their only release under the name of Leech is the album "Cyanide Christ", that was published by the small label from Sweden LL Production but, 4 years later, the stronger Polish Defense Records thought well to reissue it on CD so to give to it a better distribution. This means that, finally, many maniacs can enjoy now this thrashing slab that was remained mostly forgotten at the time of its first release!

Formis - "Chaozium" (Defense Records, 2017)
Band: Formis
Title: Chaozium
Genre: Death/Thrash Metal
Year: 14th March 2017
Time: 29 min
Rating: 83/100
During the half of December 2017, Marcin from Mythrone Promotion, asked me my postal address in order to sent me, as a sort of payment for my work for Timpani allo Spiedo 'zine, the physical CDs of 6 releases by the excellent Polish death/thrashing label Defense Records, included three ones (Whorehouse, Rotengeist and Uganga) already reviewed on these pages before his request. Well, the pack arrived, precisely, on 2nd January 2018 and...UNBELIEVABLE! There were all the 6 CDs promised by Marcin and each of them was accompanied by the relative booklets and, then, I put all them into proper CD cases, as you can see through the pic below. Marcin is a very nice guy, don't you think? So, today I'll review an album into that pack: "Chaozium" by the Polish quintet Formis.

Ram-page - "The Grave of Seven Billion" (GrimmDistribution, 2017)
Band: Ram-page
Title: The Grave of Seven Billion
Genre: Death/Thrash Metal
Year: 30th June 2017
Time: 30 min
Rating: 69/100
Aleksey Koryolov of Satanath Records sent to me 3 mega-pack of releases so far...and I have been still listening to the albums of the first mega-pack (Ram-page included)! Soon or later, I think to summarize in few words 2 or more of these releases in a single article to put in the new "mini-reviews" section, so to make more ready and faster the reviews. Meanwhile, today it's the turn of Ram-page, a Russian quartet that is so prolific that this "The Grave of Seven Billion" (released by GrimmDistribution, another parent label of Satanath Rec) is their 4th album within 8 years of existence!
