Il 4 gennaio mi è arrivato un pacco dall'etichetta abruzzese THC DIY Prod. Quel pacco conteneva non soltanto l'ultimo album dei romani Grand Theft Age, comprato a soli 5 €, ma anche la maglia dei Mud, che il loro cantante ha voluto regalarmi (come avrete letto su queste pagine, non è la prima volta che qualcuno mi regala una propria maglia, vedasi Greg della Godz ov War Productions). E vi è di più: Mauro non mi ha fatto pagare neanche le spese di spedizione. Insomma, Mauro è veramente un grande e la THC DIY Prod merita tutto il vostro/nostro supporto!

Do you remember that one year ago I reviewed a Vienna-based band called Hellavista? Well, today Vienna, Austria, returns on these pages through Deathtale, a quintet founded in 2008 by the will of the bassplayer Philipp Späth and of the veteran drummer Tom Kräutner after his demise with his previous band Demolition. With the addition of a second guitarist in the person of Gilli Gehring that made Deathtale a quintet (in fact, before they were a quartet), these Austrian guys released 4 months ago a third album under the auspices of Art Gates Records (please read the interview that I did to Ivan Magdalena about his label). The result of this collaboration has been "The Origin of Hate".

Nowadays it's a inevitable thing! More and more old bands are reforming after many years of silence. It seem that Selfmadegod Records loves to support bands of this kind, as exemplified recently on these pages with the mighty Psychoneurosis. But today there is another example thanks to My Minds Mine, a Dutch grindcore band whose psychotic "campaign for musical destruction" started in 1995. Dead in 2002 after releasing two very short full-lenght albums and some splits in according to the purest grindcore tradition (no splits with Agathocles, and this is really strange!), My Minds Mine are back in 2015. After their return, they released two splits with Suffering Quota and Sick of Stupidity, and, then, it was time to give a violent birth to the comeback album: "Passengers of the Void". Now cover your fukken ears if you don't want to be deaf for the rest of your life!

In October 2018 I received a mega-pack from the Polish label Godz ov War Productions. That pack contained not only 6 cds but also a t-shirt of the label that its boss Greg Rosensthal gave me for free! At this point, I have to underline here that Greg is really great and Godz ov War is a fantastic label, so support it! Below, you can see the t-shirt as well the cds of that pack.
