Psychoneurosis/Herida Profunda/Suffering Quota - "In Fear We Trust" (DIY coalition, 2019)
Bands: Psychoneurosis/Herida Profunda/Suffering Quota
Title: In Fear We Trust
Genre: Grindcore
Time: 13.46 min
Release date: 4th October 2019
Vote: 75/100
This split between three grindcore bands has a very particular meaning. In fact, “In Fear We Trust” is unfortunately to be considered as the last release of Psychoneurosis with their late singer Sonia, just the man that reformed them after many years of silence. Some months ago a crowdfunding for Sonia was started in order to help him to fight his pancreatic cancer, and also I contributed to this initiative by donating 4 €. Even though the crowdfunding was a big success, Sonia (R.I.P.) isn’t among us anymore. So, I believe that a nice review about his last gestures in studio as a singer are mandatory, so here you are this split called, indeed, “In Fear We Trust”, that see, in addition to Psychoneurosis, Herida Profunda (already known on these pages) and the Dutch quartet Suffering Quota (that in 2017 published a split with the tremendous grindcore machine My Minds Mine from The Netherlands, too). Be prepared to listen to something very devastating!

Hola amigos! Today, I’ll talk about punk/punk hc! No, don’t be so sad! I know that it’s not brutal-grind-death-power-violence-and-so-on, but you must really read this! ‘Cause “classic” punk is just as important as metal… or even more :P
I’M KIDDING! (No, I’m not hahahah)
Let’s try to be serious now!

When IacoPUS made some logos for the 'zine...
Some months ago Iacopo, a friend of mine, made on his own initiative some logos for Timpani allo Spiedo, without I asked anything to him, so his initiative was even more notable!

Honorable Mentions from the Abyss #16: Sacrifizer/Vortex of End/Towering
Hey brutalbangers,
if you remember well, the first episode of "Honorable Mentions from the Abyss" (no reviews, no votes, only fast bands' introductions/mentions) was entirely dedicated to two (a lot promising) French bands. Well, since I am very fond of French metal, be it extreme or not, also this new episode is totally focused on bands coming from France, ranging from black/thrash metal to black/death metal.
Now, the only thing you can do is to discover what are the French bands of this article, and be sure that they are perfect to satisfy your hunger for extreme metal!
ENJOY THE ARTICLE!!!

Necrofili: promotional video for "Infaithcted"!
Hey brutalbangers,
the Italian death/thrash metal band Necrofili, that I included in the second episode of "Come on, burn my ears!", released in January 2020 a classic promotional video for "Infaithcted" where you can see the band in great shape.

Questa E' Roma 2020 (Rome, 18th January 2020)
Fest: Questa E' Roma
Date: 18th January 2020
Location: CSOA Strike
Price: 8 €
I confess: during the new edition of the HC punk fest Questa E' Roma, a very big event for every HC punk maniac taken on 18th January 2020 at the Strike squat, I saw practically in action only 3 bands of the 16 in the bill. The fact is that I went late at the fest since I was there even at 9pm while it started the hostilities 4 hours before circa, and this means that I lost the beauty of 8 bands before I arrived. And there is need to say that this time I preferred to enjoy this fantastic event mostly by spending good moments with my many friends that were there, having a lot of fun with them until the end of the fest, precisely until 3am circa. So, the live report you're going to read today is very particular; particular as just the same fest, in which there was even a benefit dinner offered by the guys from the antispeciesist collective Agripunk, whose headquarter is located in a small town called Ambra, near Frosinone (Lazio, Italy).

INTERVIEW TO WARFIST! (WITH MIHU)
Hey brutalbangers,
some months ago I reviewed "Grünberger", the third album of this Polish horde called Warfist. Thrilled a lot by their album, not only I put them into the first episode of "Come on, burn my ears!" (the Timpani allo Spiedo's playlist) but I decided to interview them through their historical singer/guitarplayer Mihu. Ok, I waited for some months to receive his answers but you'll understand already that all this wait has been widely rewarded. In fact, he is a very talkative man, so you'll read a lot of interesting things, included real history lessons about his town, the Polish metal scene and so on.
ENJOY THIS INTERVIEW!!!
