Hey brutalbangers,
"Metal in the Box" is a new column dedicated to the stuff that the promotion agencies/labels/bands send me in physical format via postal. So, this is its first episode, entirely focused on the new CDs that, sent me by Mythrone Promotion, have arrived me just yesterday.
The pack contains 7 albums mostly released by Mythrone Prom also along with Defense Rec. Besides the CDs, the pack, as you can see through the pic above, consists of:
- a flyer announcing the Mythrone Festival celebrating, on 21st March 2020 in Crakow, the 20th anniversary of Mythrone Prom with a huge line-up composed of 7 bands of its roster, including Ragehammer, Nuclear Holocaust, Parh, Fetor and the headliners Infest, from Serbia;
- another, smaller flyer simply promoting some of the new and older releases of the two aforementioned labels;
- 6 sheets very useful because they presents every album with its basic infos, except for Mastemey's "Obraz pozorny", the only album of the pack in digipack format while the others don't have their own jewel cases.
Said all this, here you are the 7 albums:
Sandbreaker - "Sandbreaker" (death/doom metal) (Defense Rec/Mythrone Prom)
Regressive - "Born in the Grave" (black/speed'n'roll) (Defense Rec/Mythrone Prom)
Mácula/Extinction Remains - "Mácula/Extinction Remains" (crust/death/doom metal) (Defense Rec/Mythrone Prom)
Neolith - "I Am the Way" (black/death metal) (Mythrone Prom)
Железный поток ("Iron Stream" in English))- "Mystic" (technical thrash metal) (Defense Rec/Metal Race)
Infector - "Let the Infection Begin" (thrash metal) (Defense Rec)
Mastemey - "Obraz pozorni" (groove/thrash metal) (Defense Rec)
Now, I don't know when I'll review all of them but, like for every album I receive in physical format, the review is guaranteed!
For the rest, support Mythrone Promotion and Defense Records, both excellent realities in Poland, and, above all, KEEP ON SUPPORTING UNDERGROUND!
