On 29th April 2019 two power violence bands from England went here in Rome to play at Trecentosessantagradi in a gig organized by Go! Fest. They are known as Endless Swarm (from Scotland) and Nothing Clean (from UK), and believe me that they crushed all the attendants by spewing forth a huge intensity and a brutal violence like few others. But this live report will be fast and brutal as the bands involved, so let's start already with it!

Dopo il folle festival HC punk Marci su Roma, il 7 dicembre sono ritornato finalmente fra le mura amiche del 360 per la primissima edizione del Grind Galà. L'occasione era una di quelle imperdibili essendo il bill composto di gruppi oscillanti fra il death metal più putrido e il grindcore con qualche sempre ben accetta incursione in territori hardcore punk e derivati. Quindi, leggeremo qui le gesta dei seguenti gruppi, tutti italiani: Mannaia, Verano's Dogs, Onryō, Neid e Discomfort. E vi assicuro che non poteva esserci un bill migliore di questo per dare inizio a questo festival!

Grind Galà vol. 1: ready for the death metal/grindcore massacre?

Timpani allo Spiedo sarà presente alla primissima edizione del Grind Galà, una raffinatissima serata a base di death metal/grindcore che si terrà domani, 7 dicembre, a Roma al Trecentosessantagradi, che è già stato teatro di memorabili concerti qui recensiti (vedi Marci su Roma o Raw Power). E sarà recensita anche questa serata con un bel live report adatto per palati fini.

Along with my friend Luca aka L.L., in 28th December 2017 I was back at the Traffic Live Club to watch in action two Italian bands, both very talented: Onryo, from Rome, and Hierophant. These last ones, directly from the region of Emilia-Romagna, was the main band and their Roman date has been the second step of their "Italian Descent Tour", that will end, among some breaks between the gigs, 23th February 2018 in the city of Venice, so to promote "Mass Grave", the 4th album of this devastating trio released two years ago by an important label like the French Season of Mist. Instead, Onryo, if you well remember, was supposed to be in the bill of the Goatvomit Festival but, for some reason, they can't played anymore for that occasion. So, they have recovered that missed opportunity to share the stage of the Traffic Live Club with a band of the level of Hierophant.
